I normally shy away from a bright color like Citrus Leaf.  But Elise has such a quirky funny personality that this fit her perfectly!  I dyed the just blooms by simply rubbing them on the ink pads & then coloring them with markers to finish them off.  Then poked matching or contrasting brads through the middle to secure them. 

 

I used markers to doodle on the layouts too.

 

The journalling is free hand with certain words highlighted that I took from various alphabet solo sets.
