Helpful Hints

To create the featured layout, follow the helpful hints outlined below and the assembly instructions found in our how-to book Cherish™. If you did not attend the workshop and do not have the featured stamp set, use an alternate stamp set or talk with your Consultant about how to purchase this exclusive stamp set. Your Consultant can offer you additional help with this and other great projects and show you our full line of high quality scrapbooking and cardmaking products.

  • Cut the papers according to the cutting diagrams on page 112 of Cherish™, excluding the title piece. Cut the following accent pieces from White Daisy cardstock: 2 1/2" × 6 1/2" and 1 3/4" × 5". (Note: The accent pieces are used for stamping.)
  • Using Garnet ink, stamp the four flowers on the 2 1/2" × 6 1/2" accent piece.
  • Using the second generation stamping technique, stamp the back of the flower images over the corresponding images. Using Cocoa ink and a sponge dauber, lightly fill in the centers of the stamped flowers. Cut out each image.
  • Using Cocoa ink, stamp three letters of choice on the 1 3/4" × 5" accent piece.
  • Using the second generation stamping technique, stamp the solid square over each letter. Cut out each image.
  • Using the sponging technique, apply Cocoa ink to the edges of the papers.
  • Cut the Top Coats™ overlays, as shown.
  • Assemble the layout according to the instructions on page 112.
  • Cut two 13" pieces of ribbon and attach along the edges of piece B, threading one piece through two Mini-Medley buckles.
  • Cut one 8" piece of ribbon and attach along the left edge of piece E, threading it through two Mini-Medley buckles.
  • Attach the cut-out Top Coats and stamped images, as desired.
  • Attach the Mini-Medley flower brads and crocheted flowers as desired.
